John A. Andrews, screenwriter, producer, playwright, director, and author of several books. As an author of almost 50 books in the genre on relationships, personal development, faith-based, and vivid engaging novels. Also, a playwright and screenwriter.
John is sought after as a motivational speaker to address success principles to young adults. He makes an impact in the lives of others because of his passion and commitment to make a difference in his life and the world.
Being a father of three sons propels John even more in his desire to see teens succeed. Andrews, a divorced dad of three sons Jonathan, Jefferri and Jamison. Andrews was born in the Islands of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. His two eldest sons are also writers and wrote their first two novels while teenagers.
Andrews grew up in a home of five sisters and three brothers. He recounts: "My parents were all about values: work hard, love God and never give up on your dreams."
Self-educated, John developed an interest in music. Although lacking formal education, he later put his knowledge and passion to good use, moonlighting as a disc jockey in New York. This paved the way for further exploration in the world of entertainment. In 1994 John caught the acting bug. Leaving the Big Apple for Hollywood over a decade ago not only put several national TV commercials under his belt but helped him to find his niche. He also appeared in the movie John Q starring Denzel Washington.
His passion for writing started in 2002 when he was denied the rights to a 1970's classic film, which he so badly wanted to remake. In 2007, while etching two of his original screenplays, he published his first book "The 5 Steps to Changing Your Life"
In 2008 he not only published his second book but also wrote 7 additional books that year, and produced the docu-drama based on his second book; Spread Some Love (Relationships 101).
Currently, he just published book 47 and working on 48, 49 and 50. With several in the movie and TV pipeline.
