Victor Matthews

Vic Matthews was born in and lives in Australia, and he can trace his lineage back to the 1st Fleet (perhaps even convicts). He's a late starter in the field of writing, but nonetheless brings passion to his new calling. After a long career in private practice as an Optometrist (throughout which his desire to write never waned), he started his professional writing career in his sixties.

Oh well! As they say "Better late than never". His primary interest lies in the area of contemporary issues facing Christians and the Church in our post-Christian era.

His first book "As It Is In Heaven" addresses the popular and pervasive misconception that Heaven is the final and permanent destination of believers. The next book explores the possibility of miracles and the Resurrection, in an age of scientific scepticism.

He has three degrees; B. Optom, B.A. & B. Christian. Studies.
