Christin Simms

Christin Simms is an Emmy Award-winning television producer and Emmy nominated writer who is very excited to have co-authored the Dino Dana Field Guide. She has written and produced numerous projects, such as Dino Dan, Dino Dan: Trek's Adventures, Annedroids, Playdate, Dino Dana, Dino Dana The Movie, Endlings and Ghostwriter. Christin has worked with a slew of international broadcasters on exceptional kids and family programs and she particularly loves projects that defy stereotypes and allow every kid to see themselves reflected on screen (and now on the page!) Christin is a recipient of a Canadian Screen Award, a Canadian Screenwriting Award and the Youth Media Alliance’s Emerging Talent Award. She was also named one of Playback Magazine’s Top Ten to Watch and is a proud member of the Writer’s Guild of Canada’s Diversity Committee. Christin's favourite dinosaur is the Triceratops but she also enjoys unicorns and vampires.
