Ron Cooper

Ron Cooper is a documentary and portrait photographer based in Denver, Colorado. He travels extensively in pursuit of images that reflect local cultures and people. His emphasis is on portraiture with the objective of introducing readers and viewers to the people he meets and photographs at home and around the world. His photographs celebrate humanity and while they document the many differences in appearance, dress, culture, faith and way of life, they also convey the fact that our similarities and "connectedness" as humans far outweigh those superficial differences.

Since 2016, Cooper's work has been presented in more than 45 juried group exhibitions across the United States, receiving Best in Show, Director's Choice, Best Portrait, Artistic Excellence and Honorable Mention Awards. He's presented four solo shows and his photographs have been published in consumer magazines, newspapers and photography journals.
