E.N. CARTWRIGHT is a teacher of English by day and, like all English teachers, a secret writer by night. She has a particular interest in novels for young people - especially if you throw in a little magic to them! This is influenced by her own love of reading fantasy novels.
She is the author of ‘So, you think it’s easy being me?’, a series of monologues/short stories from the point-of-view of various horror/fantasy creatures, and ‘The Acorn’, a long urban fantasy novel about the dryad Ariadne.
She is also the author of a series of study-guides to make Shakespeare an easy and exam friendly text, called ‘Shakespeare Short Guides’. These include notes, quotes and exemplar essays to de-mystify the Bard.
She lives in the UK with her partner and her very lazy rescue grey-hound - who is actually grey!
