Mark D. Ramirez

Dr. Mark D. Ramirez (PhD., Texas A&M University) is a Professor in the School of Politics and Global Studies at Arizona State University. Professor Ramirez studies the role of democratic and non-democratic processes on political preference formation among citizens. His research appears in some of the leading academic journals such as the American Journal of Political Science, British Journal of Political Science, Criminology, Journal of Politics, Political Psychology, and Public Opinion Quarterly. Prior to Arizona State University, he served as a Post-doctoral Fellow at the Center for Empirical Research in the Law at Washington University in Saint Louis and a Ford Foundation Dissertation Fellow.
