Ivy Hendy

Since receiving her degree

in philosophy, Ivy Hendy has

studied the broad topic of

‘what is the right thing to do?’

She has given college level

classes in ‘Ethics and Everyday Life’

at Sacramento State University.

Her new book, "The Hands We Shake:

A Brief History of Human

Cooperation and Controversy"

arose out of the questions of

conduct and convention that

emerged while teaching her

classes.
