Richard and his wife, Diane, married 42 years, are parents to 6 children, 14 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. He encourages his family, friends, and complete strangers to look into their own lives for miracles, believing, based on experience, that every one of us has a significant purpose for being and that the miracles help us to discover that purpose. Richard and Diane live in northeastern Illinois.
