Pam Sievers

I was inspired to write by my high school creative writing teacher. Thank you, Mrs. Larson. Over the years, I had fun writing personal essays, and a column for a small-town newspaper. An evening class in creative writing sparked a deeper interest, which led to writing groups and conferences, which took me to a critique group. I wanted to be a humor writer. Instead, I enjoy writing with touches of humor - a much different scenario. Originally, a high school teacher and guidance couselor, I transitioned to a career in the nonprofit world, most of it in Girl Scouts.
