Phil Sanders

Phil Sanders is the Founder/Director of PS Marlowe, a creative services consultancy firm and publisher of fine art projects located in Asheville, NC. Former positions include: COO of The Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts, Director/Master Printer of Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop, NYC, and Master Printer for Universal Limited Art Editions (ULAE). Sanders has taught art business and studio courses at Stanford University, San Francisco State University, and Penland School of Craft and trained printers at David Krut Workshop, Johannesburg, SA, Flying Horse Editions, Orlando, FL, and RBPMW in NYC. Sanders’ own artwork is contained in the public collections of The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Yale University Art Gallery among others. Sanders lectures regularly at museums, universities, and community art centers on topics ranging from prints and printmakers, patronage in the arts, art business, to the relationship between the artist, publisher, and printer.
