Carlotta Amerio is an Italian author, storyteller, and self-confessed travel addict who writes fiction that blurs the line between the everyday and the unsettling. Her debut psychological thriller, Beyond Dreams, was a multi-award nominee and follows a young woman whose nightmares hold the key to solving a string of real murders. Her second novel, Unfolding Horizons, trades the darkness for the open road - a story partly born from her own journey through Morocco, which left her convinced that the best plot twists happen far from home.
Carlotta splits her time between a demanding career in corporate communications and a life spent chasing new places, new stories, and - whenever possible - more cilantro. She speaks five languages and, despite an ever-growing list of adventures, secretly identifies with the sloth as her spirit animal.
She lives in Italy, where she's already plotting her next book.
