Alex Cooper is a freelance writer and author with a love of animals, a penchant for puns, and two published books about the weird and wonderful animal kingdom.

Alex grew up in Norfolk, England. He also spent time in Sheffield and London before moving to Sydney, Australia for two years. His passion for wildlife and nature was only enhanced when he managed to avoid being killed by sharks, spiders, snakes, or crocodiles.

He enjoys sarcasm, single malt whisky, and looking at pictures of red pandas. He doesn't enjoy talking about himself in the third person, but he'll suck it up for the purposes of a biography.
