Gary Pattillo

Gary Pattillo is the author of Stone of Gabriel, the first novel in the Angel Stones series. A graduate of San Diego State University with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration, he draws on a lifelong fascination with human behavior, morality, faith, and the line between good and evil to create supernatural thrillers grounded in the real world.

Before turning to fiction, Gary followed an unconventional career path that included everything from convenience-store management and the beer industry to insurance, giving him a broad collection of people, places, and experiences to draw upon in his writing.

Away from the keyboard, Gary enjoys charcoal and pencil drawing and traveling to Kenya, where he spends time with family. He lives in Southern California and credits God for everything he has, everything he is, and everything he is able to create.
