Brian Cummins was born 1970 in Hampshire, England, and achieved what he would call an average Secondary level education.
Brian would class himself as your average, everyday person. His first book 'Keep Taped Up' was written during the final years of a journey of ill health. It details the trials and tribulations of undergoing multiple major operations to try and correct lifelong issues with passing water. As he states within the book, this does not mean he gets anxious when driving over the River Severn crossing into or out of Wales.
For Brian's second book, he created a fictional novel about a character called Franklin Fryer. The book follows the tale of Franklin's life from birth in the 1920's, and includes many adventures and near brushes with death. Within this book, Brian has used a blend of fact, fiction and humour. This is an emotional read, including joy, laughter, and a little sadness. When writing, Brian said," If this book makes me laugh, and cry, then I am sure those who read it will too."
Brian's latest addition to your library was published 26-07-23. "The Adventure of PW Bear" It is Brian's first children's book. With all that's going on in the world currently, Brian felt that a book for children was needed. It is a short story for bedtime which suits anytime of the year, but best suits the cold winter months, especially around the festive season.
