Amanda J. Smith

Born in 1986, Amanda J. Smith was raised in the mountains of Sandia Park, New Mexico. After receiving her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of New Mexico, she continued her education and received a Master's in Clinical Social Work in 2012. After working as a social worker for five years, Amanda went back to school for her degree in Respiratory Therapy, which fueled many of the ideas found in her first novel, Year 2160. She lives in Colorado with her husband of 9 years, Brian, and daughter, Evelyn, working for a hospice.
