Rupak Chatterjee

Rupak Chatterjee is an architect, urban planner and heritage regeneration specialist with over 25 years of international practice across historic cities, cultural landscapes and conservation programmes. He holds an MA in Urban Design from Oxford Brookes University and is based in Dubai.

He is the founder of Heritage Travel Asia, which presents Asia's UNESCO World Heritage destinations through an urban planning, architecture and heritage regeneration lens. Its Heritage Travel Planners and Itineraries, beginning with Kyoto, are written for culturally discerning travellers who prefer unhurried, deeper discovery. Each one reads a destination as it was planned, built and conserved, and orders the visits so that its history unfolds in sequence.
