Jim Steele

My name is Jim Steele, thank you for visiting. A little about myself... I'm originally from Ohio but have called Central Florida home for many years. I live in Lake County, near Orlando, but very rural and with a great small town feeling. I worked for the federal government for nearly forty years and recently retired. I've been writing poetry for many years and also write the occasional song lyric and will soon begin a children's story. Poetry for me is an outlet, much like a diary. I write nearly everyday, with many of my poems just shuffled off to the side, never to be shared. I've written seven poetry books, my latest was released in September '22. My wish is that you'll pick up one of my books, relax, and find yourself somewhere in the pages. Thank you.
