Carl Simon lives in Rochester, New York with his wife Kate and two sons, Adrian and Desmond. He works in the nonprofit sector and is currently the Director of Finance at Foodlink, an organization seeking to end hunger in the region. Carl earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Environmental Studies from Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina, where he was also captain of the men’s lacrosse team. He holds a Master’s of Public Administration from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University.
Carl’s full name is Carl Service Simon, his mother’s maiden name is Service. Based on his family’s verbal history, he is related to the famous poet Robert W. Service, author of “Cremation of Sam McGee” among others.
