Mikala's closet is exploding with hats! She has so many that she doesn't always know how to wear them all. She has the hat of a mother, a wife, a Doctor of Physical therapy, a vlogger for other moms @SoDakSisters and let's not forget the hat of small business owner for FUNctional based toys and activities StagesOfFun.com. If Mikala's closet full enough, she chose to add author to her wardrobe with the debut book, The Wonder of My Words.

Mikala hates the smell of bananas but loves a tub of cool whip on her pumpkin pie. She is passionate about helping others gain both physical and inner strength as well as building others' self-confidence levels. She leaps for joy when getting to go on new journeys with her family and will try most things once.

She has been stuck on a roller coast that wouldn't stop, bungee jumped and even skydived! On a typical evening, you can find Mikala cuddled up in her hammock with her kids and cats and a pair of crazy patterned socks on reading and dreaming up her next adventure.
