Jacqueline White-Ivey

Jacqueline White-Ivey was born in Jonesville, Louisiana, a small town in central Louisiana. She moved to Buras, Louisiana, at seven years old, and graduated high school there in 1982. After marrying and having her first two children, she graduated from the University of Louisiana, Monroe, in 1993. She worked as a COTA in Occupational Therapy for twenty-six years before retiring to start her own publishing company, Maemo Publishing, LLC. All four of her children are college graduates and she is the grandmother of one angel in heaven and one angel still on Earth. She is active in assisting her local homeless shelter and is a tireless advocate for the improvement of our mental health system in America. She currently lives in McComb, Mississippi, with her husband, Jerry Ivey.
