Sandra Ann Harris

Sandra Ann Harris is a plastic pollution activist and environmental entrepreneur. Her passion is protecting the oceans by reducing people's dependence on plastics. Through her work educating, inspiring and empowering people to reduce their dependence on plastics, 10s of millions pieces of trash are averted annually from use during lunchtime and beyond. Harris is the founder of ECOlunchbox, a mission-based company in California that launched a 100% plastic-free line of food containers in 2008. The plastic-free company is a certified California Green Business and B Corp social enterprise. Harris, who has a diverse background in investigative journalism and humanitarian aid, lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her family.
