Ned Ward

Ned Ward is an English author, residing in the little city of Norwich, in East Anglia.

Ned grew up obsessed with stories and storytelling. He has loved poetry and short stories ever since first school, and while at University, studying Illustration, he decided to pursue it. While Ned did graduate with a degree in Illustration, his love of artwork was in the form of story telling, and he also started the draft of his first novel while at University. The book would take many shapes as it went on, but eventually, after two years of writing and a few edits, it became The Spectre and the Raven. This marked a significant step for Ned, and a large achievement.

Ned Ward is vastly interested in mythology and history, and often draws from these areas of interest in his works. His favourite book series is His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman, and his favourite poet is Ted Hughes. Currently, Ned Ward is working on two projects that he is excited to reveal bit by bit as they develop.

"There is power here, and there is peace. It is rare, if not impossible, to have both." - The Spectre and the Raven
