He is the author of the Pendale series, Beneath the Surface and Break with the Past. He has also written Disturbing the Dead and the just released In the Adirondack Shadows.
A lover of noir, both on-screen and on the page, he is also a fan of smart-ass dialogue with a strong dose of dark humor. Who says despicable characters can’t show their funny sides?
When not camped in front of a laptop, he enjoys the activities his unique home region has to offer. In the colder months he enjoys snowshoeing and hunkering down in front of the fire. In the brief window of warmer weather, he can be found among his beehives, harvesting honey and beeswax, splitting the hives, and producing queens. Whenever possible he'll be hiking or kayaking.
