Elly Sheykhet

Elly Sheykhet grew up in Ivanovo, Russia. In 2000, she moved with her husband and two children to Pittsburgh, Pa. After losing her 20 year old daughter Alina in 2017, Elly developed a different understanding of life and death and hopes that her book will help others who suffer the loss of a loved one. Elly is very passionate about Alina’s Light, a nonprofit organization established in memory of her daughter. She dedicated her life to honor her daughter by helping others who share Alina’s passions.
