Robert William Harms

Robert William Harms is an author, artist, musician, amateur bodybuilder, and former professional wrestler. A lifetime creative, Robert started off drawing at a young age following after his mother who was also an artist and creative.

After graduating college with a degree in visual communications, Robert continued following his dream of becoming a professional wrestler. After years of traveling all around the USA and Canada as a wrestler, Robert decided he wanted to pursue another, less dangerous passion of his which was music.

From 2008 till 2018, Robert was the singer, songwriter, and guitarist for the horror-punk band The Theatre Zombies. The band toured the USA and played with several big bands from the horror-punk scene including Blitzkid and Darrow Chemical Company, amongst many others. In 2018 the band parted ways, but Robert continued recording music and released several EPs under the name The Draculads.

Around this same time, Robert began taking his artwork more seriously and began an instagram page to share his artwork. After growing a modest social media following, Robert dived back into an old hobby of drawing comics. in 2018, Robert started writing a graphic novel. Realizing it had grown beyond his abilities at the time, Robert made the decision to change his outline, for what would become A Dream of Neon Fire, from a comic book into a traditional novel. In 2020, Robert published his first novel, A Dream of Neon Fire. Not forgetting his goal of one day drawing a full comic book, Robert wrote a more manageable script for a spin-off of his main novel. In 2020, the world was locked down in the midst of a global pandemic. Robert was laid off from his job durning this period. Robert, believing this lockdown would only last at most a month, set to work on this comic. A month later it was completed and his first comic, A Dream of Neon Fire Secret File #1: The Strange Case of Jacob Loomis was completed and released online.

Since then, Robert has continued writing and drawing and has released more entries in the Dream of Neon Fire series.
