Alison is a ball of passion - anything of interest, she learns all she can and holds herself accountable to see through. This has helped keep her sober since the age of 18, helped her navigate the hell of anorexia and bulimia which "The Addict in Aisle 7" explores. This accountability and passion has taken her from owning a business as a professional horseback riding to winning Ultra obstacle course races in her 35 short years of life. Above all, she has allowed passion to help her become the best friend, daughter, sister, sales professional, writer and girlfriend she can envision being.
Alison is all love, with a little mix of Pitbull. She's real, but she's kind. She's off the cuff, but she's professional. She's both blunt and sensitive - an interesting combination, and would die for anyone that she loves. She isn't afraid to tell the truth about herself, or you, but does so in a way that is relatable and fair.
As a recovering addict of all kinds, Alison intends to smash the myths that surround both addiction and recovery. It's not what most think it is, or what most think it looks like. It looks like me, and it looks like you. It looks like the person walking next to you in the grocery store and the person passing you on the Freeway.
