Nick Cotton

It would be fair to say I'm a very keen cyclist. I have written over forty cycling guides in the past twenty years, riding more than 30,000 miles all over Britain during the course of my research. I have travelled and trekked extensively, climbing to over 5,000 metres on three continents and have cycled in many countries. I am most proud to have authored five mountain biking titles for Vertebrate Publishing and is also being the author of the popular guidebook Traffic-Free Cycle Trails. I live in Kirkby Lonsdale on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. When not on my bike, I campaign for greater access to traffic-free cycling for all. Have been known to pick up litter.
