I'm a lucky dude. Been able to write since 1994, starting with newspapers and continuing with books. I get to visit worlds that otherwise only exist in my head and that's a feeling that can't be described. It's the best. What's even better is getting to share those worlds with others and, hopefully, that's why you're here. I couldn't have done it without my wife, Jessica, who has been there the entire time. I have two boys, Mark and Jack and currently have three crazy doggos. I also consider Montana to be the best place in the world to live.

If you want to talk movies, I'll start with "The Road." If you want to know about music, I'll tell you Tool and Pearl Jam are not only playing exclusively in my truck but are also represented with ink on my skin. So are the Denver Broncos. In several places.

I have one young adult novel called, "Niobrara's Thorn," but the other books are for mature readers. So if you're a youngster visiting this page, it's best to wait a few years to check out my other fiction.
