Daisy Torres

Daisy Torres was born in Meriden, Conn, where her love for reading began. As a young girl, she spent hours reading books and knew one day she wanted to be an author. Her strong passion and love of children’s literature led her to a 20+ year career in education as a teacher and current district administrator.

Her connection to family pets from an early age solidified her belief in the powerful bond between humans and animals. Her debut children’s bilingual (English and Spanish) book is called I’ll See You on the Bridge, a heart-warming true story about pet loss inspired by the beautiful relationship between her son, Brandon, and their precious dog, Lily.
