Douglas J. Flowe

Douglas Flowe is the Georgie W. Lewis Career Development Associate Professor in the history department at Washington University in St. Louis. His research focuses on crime, race, and manhood, and he teaches classes on urban history, race and drugs, criminality, and American masculinity. At Washington University he has won teaching awards including the 2018 Trailblazer Faculty Award, and he recently completed a fellowship at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton.
