Michael E. Heyes

Dr. Michael E. Heyes is an associate professor and chair of the Department of Religion at Lycoming College. He received his MA in Comparative Religion from the University of Washington and his PhD from Rice University, specializing in the History of Christianity. He has a wide range of research interests including medieval saints' lives literature, magic, film, politics, and monstrosity; but largely all informed by his engagement with demons and the demonic in Christian history.
