Martha Wallace

I am Martha Wallace, writer, poet, mentor and now author of the new memoir, A Sampling of Life, One Taste at a Time. An avid reader, traveler and an epicurean foodie. Former caterer, as well as baker and inventor of delicious bites, I aspire to discover new and healthy ways to cook old favorites and to continue to pursue my passion of putting pen to paper, plinking computer keys and pouring out my thoughts and imagination. I will also make time for beach getaways, which are essential.

I was born in Cleveland Ohio, and currently reside in Stone Mountain, Georgia. I was a return to college student that majored in Journalism at Georgia State Perimeter College. Then I attended and graduated from Agnes Scott College majoring in English Creative Writing and Africana studies. Although this book was written in Atlanta my story begins in Cleveland, Ohio on my Grandpa’s front porch.
