Dr. Charles P. Baylis ThD

Dr. Charles Baylis has been on the faculty of Dallas Theological Seminary since 1994 and is presently a Professor of Bible Exposition. Dr. Baylis’ specialty is the literary study of the Biblical Story. In addition, he is President and CEO of BiblicalStory, Inc. His website, www.BiblicalStory.org, educates students, pastors, professors, homeschool students, missionaries, and others in all settings including Bible studies, churches, and personal study so as to know the Biblical Story and to trust Jesus as their Savior.

He obtained a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration degree from Eastern Michigan University. He received a Master of Theology degree in 1985 from Dallas Theological Seminary followed by a Doctor of Theology degree in 1989.

He has made multiple trips to the Biblical sites in Israel, Turkey, Greece, and Rome. He is married with three adult children and three grandchildren. His great joy is to spend time in family activities with his children and grandchildren.
