I write books on anthropology, sociology, tourism, and ecology, besides poetry and fiction books, which are either literary or thrillers. I started with award-winning write-ups in school, then poems in my four years in college, in inter-university creative writing contests. I have won many awards for poetry and write free verse (in the usual sense, as well as in the sense of T.S. Eliot), along with traditional forms of poetry, such as the couplet, sonnet (Shakespearean, Petrarchan), ottava rima (8-line stanzas), limerick, humorous poems, and modern as well as modernist poems, besides short poems and haikus. I specialize in imagery that is impressionistic, sometimes surreal, use concrete metaphors to effect, and write on romance with life, not just heterosexual romance; also nature, faith, travel, spirituality, and most of all, love. I otherwise specialize in anthropology, sociology, psychology, economics, and tourism from the social science, as well as management and marketing views.
