Gilbert Ramirez grew up in Austin, Texas. He proudly identifies himself as a product of the 80s. Throughout most of the 1990s, he served as a Medic in the U.S. Army. In 2005, he obtained a B.S. in Advertising from The University of Texas at Austin College of Communication, where he focused on digital media. Since graduating from U.T., he's worked in various online marketing roles: Analytics Business Analyst, Search Marketing Manager, Integrations Solutions Architect, Online Merchandiser, and more. On the service side, he's worked at several major SAAS platforms, acting directly with high-profile clients and digital media agencies to drive proficiency and adoption. As a consultant, he assists clients with their transition to, or immersion into, a Martech ecosystem. He lives now with his wife and two sons in Munich, Germany. In his spare time, he pursues his failed dream of becoming a professional cyclist. The Chameleon is his debut novel.
