Writing enables me to empower myself and to support and share! As a therapist and someone who has had and has therapy, I want to empower others to create a life that is healing and healthy. As humans, we all have experienced so much in so many different ways, we all have stories to tell, wisdom to share and compassion to help heal.......

Writing is a passion of mine, it allows me on a personal level to explore my emotions, my thoughts and process all I am growing through, I journal daily, so writing is part of my being and my healing.

Stillborn, my second book, it is a deeply personal one, it tells the story of my firstborn son, who was stillborn. I share all that I went through and what I have learnt. I wanted to be able to, hopefully, give some semblance of support to anyone on the dark, overwhelming and deeply heartbreaking journey. For me, my son's legacy was and is life changing and because of and due to my son, I made some choices along the path that have allowed me the most incredible healing journey to become a far better person.

Teen-A-Pause, my first book, is more than just a book to me, I am a psychotherapist who works with teenagers, and in turn their parents, I am also a mother to 2 teenagers. I wrote it & self published it because every teen I worked with & each & every parent I spoke to along with my parenting was being challenged in so many ways.... every story I heard about a teen not wanting to live or feeling alone drove me to want to make a difference, to want to share all the knowledge I have gathered within my work!

This book contains insights into mental health & support, emotional intelligence, neuroscience, mindfulness, conscious parenting, along with questions to challenge you, the parent to understand you and your parenting more..

Teen-A-Pause is my passion, I want us as parents to have more understanding & tools to support our teens, all teens to feel more understood!
