Leonard I Eckhaus

Leonard Eckhaus has spent a lifetime building things that last, organizations, music, memories, and now stories for the next generation.

He is the founder of AFCOM, the world's leading association for data center professionals, and the creator of the award-winning publication DCM. His work and insights have appeared in major publications including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and Bloomberg News.

In 2017, Leonard co-founded LL Music, a record label that earned two Grammy nominations in 2018. His memoir, My Journey: Lessons I've Learned Along the Way, was selected by UK Talk Radio as one of the top 10 must-read books of 2021.

But If I Were A Pony is different. It began as a love letter for his granddaughter Hannah, a poem inspired by the joy, imagination, and wonder of childhood. The story has since won six awards, including Creative Child Magazine's Book of the Year.

Leonard lives in Las Vegas with Linda, his childhood sweetheart of 59 years. Together they have two children, three grandchildren, and countless memories that continue to inspire his stories.
