Dr S M A Moin

Dr S M A Moin is an interdisciplinary researcher, author, and thought leader in storytelling, creativity, leadership, and strategy. A former Lieutenant Commander in the Bangladesh Navy, he transitioned to the UK private sector, advising major companies and contributing to a 4 billion international subsea project. He now serves as Reader (Associate Professor) in Marketing at Queen Mary University of London, having previously held senior academic roles at Coventry University London. A Principal Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, Moin holds an MBA (Strathclyde) and PhD in Management (Nottingham), with executive training from Oxford, Cambridge, and Harvard. Recognised as a 2024 Top Scholar and ranked #9 globally in Storytelling research by ScholarGPS, his work explores storytelling as a strategic and humanising force across marketing, branding, education, and digital culture.
