Lisa Svajone was born and raised in Germany and has spent much of her life between countries. She has lived in Finland and Australia and now calls Lithuania home. These places - and the quiet spaces between them - shape her writing. Her novels are rooted in travel, observation, and a deep pull toward northern landscapes. She writes about people searching for belonging, about silence, distance, and the moments that change everything. When she isn’t writing, Lisa is usually outdoors - walking long trails, photographing empty places, or thinking about life’s unanswered questions.
