Nellie was born in Liverpool, lived in Malaysia as a child, went to big school in Bath then trotted off to Africa.

To keep up with their three adventurous children, she and her husband have spent time in California, Texas, Abu Dhabi and France. They now live near Bath.

Nellie retired from teaching to focus on writing and illustrating and to spend more time with her grandchildren.

Jump Eric Jump is one of several bedtime stories for little creatures.
