Phillip Daigle

Following a business career, Phillip Daigle returned to writing fiction and personal essays. He is the author of four historical thrillers, including Tides of Acadia and The Acadian (17th-century Nova Scotia), Canvas of Secrets (1969 Southern California), and Sacred Plunder (1969 Vietnam). His essays about the writing life appear on Substack, where he explores the distance between writerly dreams and retail practicality with self-deprecating humor and genuine affection for both the craft and its absurdities. Phillip lives in Laguna Beach, California.
