Benjamin Perrin

Benjamin Perrin is a professor at the University of British Columbia, Peter A. Allard School of Law. He served in the Prime Minister’s Office as in-house legal counsel and was lead policy advisor on criminal justice and public safety. He was also a law clerk at the Supreme Court of Canada.

Professor Perrin researches and teaches criminal law, constitutional law and international law. He has testified as an expert witness before Parliamentary committees and provincial legislatures, and regularly provides commentary in the media. He lives in Vancouver, BC.
