Thomas Dalton

Thomas Dalton is an economist who retired from the University of Arizona in 2015. He has published numerous articles that deal with economic and political issues, including "Ballots, Bribes and Brand-name Political Capital", with R. Morris Coats and Arthur Denzau, in Joshua Hall (ed.) Explorations in Public Sector Economics: Essays by Prominent Economists, “Another Look at the Fed’s Incomplete QE Record” in the Wall Street Journal, “The Fed Got Some Things Right” in the Wall Street Journal, “Borlaug Only Delayed the Population Crisis” in the Wall Street Journal, "Choice of Regulatory Schemes When Quality is Uncertain", with R. Morris Coats in Atlantic Economic Journal – Best Papers Proceedings as well as the text Complexity, Institutions and Economic Activity. He also is the author of two historical novels, Susanna Didier and The Traveler’s Tale. He lives with his wife in New Orleans.
