Kerstin Moore

Kerstin Moore (1963 -) was born in Spalding, Lincolnshire, the third of four children to mixed German/English parents. She studied Theology at Durham University and went on to teach Religious Education to secondary students in Oxfordshire and Devon. She was awarded a Farmington Fellowship by Manchester College, Oxford, and continued developing teaching materials for senior students. Her greatest love is teaching.

She lives with her husband and three sons in coastal Devon, in South West England, and loves nothing more than walking the beach, cycling, and playing board games with her family.

Her first novel Heartwood was published in June 2020 and has just completed the sequel: Driftwood.

Both novels are based on true stories and are set in Devon and North Germany. She is now working on the final book in the trilogy; Kindling Wood.
