John Albert

As a native of Louisiana I grew up near the swamps and bayous. As far back as I can remember I've heard whispered tales of mystical, supernatural, and otherworldly creatures that filled the swamps and imaginations of its residents. My hope, as a writer, is to breathe new life into those stories.

After a career in the military I retired to the beautiful Gulf Coast. I enjoy sitting outside listening to the sounds of nature, the wind blowing through the pines, and the soft sound of waves lapping the beach as I write my stories. In the wind, if I strain, I can almost hear the shouts of pirates, the murmuring of ghosts, and the snarls of creatures that I would recommend steering clear of.
