Nate was raised in a Christian home in Pennsylvania (USA) but grew up in Tamaulipas (Mexico) and Alabama (USA). He had always seen himself as a lawyer until, during an undergraduate semester of study abroad in Chile, God called him to missions.
While he waited for God's timing to head to the mission field, he finished his undergraduate degree in English and Spanish Education. He then taught as an ELL (English Language Learner) teacher for five years in Boaz City Schools and Jefferson County Schools, both of which are in Alabama. While teaching, he obtained his Masters of Education in English to Speakers of Other Languages from the University of Alabama - Birmingham.
In 2014, he married his wife, Christine. At the end of 2016, they moved to Chile as missionaries with their first daughter. Since then, God has blessed them with another daughter and a son.
Nate has been privileged to work here in San Pedro de la Paz, Chile, since the beginning of 2017. His ministry focuses on personal evangelism and discipleship through preaching in church, in-home Bible studies, and doctrinal training.
He enjoys the occasional chess game, and was the 2006 Alabama High School State Champion. He also enjoys running to stay in shape and simply spending time with his family.
