Thomas Fullmer

Thomas Fullmer was born and raised in central Utah. He has published three books of poetry, and one children’s book. He has a degree in anthropology, and likes to make science come alive for young readers. He contributes poetry on Facebook, and belongs to the FM group.He has recently published his third poetry book, through Rose books. He is also in the process of publishing his second children’ s book, which he plans to have complete by Summer 2021. Many of his poems reflect the sorrow he felt on losing his wife to liver disease in September 2019. His second book, In the Crucible of My Catharsis was decimated to his late wife, Barbara. He and his family continue to mourn her loss. Haiku and micro poems make up his most recent book of poetry, From the Fabric of My Heart/From the Fabric of My Soul. Thomas is a retired Postal Worker, who has chosen to return to school to pursue a degree in Mathematics and Middle East Studies. One of his life’s great adventures as going to the valley of Petra, in Jordan of the Middle East, as an archaeology student. One of his upcoming children,s books is based on that adventure. In fact, he plans to make it a trilogy. Thomas; poems have been called insightful and inspirational/ He hopes his readers will find his poetry so, and that young readers will enjoy the adventures fun, exciting, and interesting. There is always something to be learned from Thomas’ writings, whether it be poetry or a children’s adventure.
