Andrew N. Wegmann

Andrew N. Wegmann is Assistant Professor of History at Texas Tech University, where he teaches classes on the Early American Republic and the Atlantic World. He is the author, most recently, of An American Color: Race and Identity in New Orleans and the Atlantic World (2022) and co-editor, with Robert Englebert, of French Connections: Cultural Mobility in North America and the Atlantic World (2020), winner of the Wilson Prize for Canadian History. A native of New Orleans, he lives in Lubbock, Texas.
