Mason Oruru

Mason Oruru, is a dual American and Nigerian citizen, a music aficionado, a Pan-Africanist and former D.J. Heavily involved in sports in his youth, he also has a passion for reading and travel. Born in Lagos, Nigeria - the birth place of modern afrobeat, Mason was at the epicenter of this musical journey and movement. He's a former Healthcare Facility Management Director and Consultant; but now dedicates his life to the tenets of Pan-Africanism, Afri-community empowerment and social justice. Mason holds a Bachelor's Degree in Africana Studies, and a minor in Philosophy from Georgia State University. He currently resides in metro-Atlanta, Georgia.
