Lee A. Westberry

Dr. Lee A. Westberry received her first degree, a B.A. in Business Administration, from an all girls' school Columbia College. After working in business and industry and noting computational and communication deficiencies, Dr. Westberry decided to go back to school to teach. She flipped a coin to determine if she was going to teach English or mathematics. English won. After teaching high school English, Dr. Westberry continued with advanced degrees and became a school administrator. She worked in school administration for over 20 years, serving in multiple capacities that included middle school principal, high school principal, and district supervisory roles. Most recently, Dr. Westberry serves as an Assistant Professor as well as the Program Coordinator in the Zucker Family School of Education at The Citadel in Charleston, SC. She also serves as the Director of Program Development and Enhancement for the Zucker Family School of Education. Dr. Westberry is also the owner and CEO of F.L.I.P. Educational Group (Focused Leadership in Practice) which serves to support school principals, assistant principals, instructional coaches and teaching staff (flipeducationalgroup.com).

Dr. Westberry has also been married for 28 years to her high school sweetheart Danny and has two beautiful daughters Warner and Sophie. Sophie did the cover art for the book Putting the Pieces Together!
